In celebration of TEDWomen 2018, we will explore the POWERFUL theme of SHOWING UP, which we believe is a woman's favorite topic. TEDxHobokenWomen 2018, Showing Up will be one of our biggest events YET! AND we're inviting men too! Come one, come all! There will be men, both in attendance and in our talent line up. It's going to be a large collaboration of several awesome people together in one room sharing ideas from activism to sociology, science, technology and design, as well as relationships, personal stories and perspectives that offer new beliefs that connect.

Special Guest Artists
Heather L. Corey is an artist inspired by the feminine form. She received her BA from Moravian College and MFA from The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where she taught figure drawing for the Cooperative Studio Program. In 2013, she was awarded Teacher of the Year by the Bergen County Teacher/Educational Services/Professionals Recognition Program.
Her idea worth spreading is to create a collection of one hundred sculpted corsets made from handmade paper. Her mission is to inspire individuals to share their inner peace, channel their new sense of self through self-reflection, and provide their peaceful realization for people. SCULPTED once again invites the viewer—both male and female—to reflect on his or her personal challenges and achievements that explore the theme of Showing Up in 2019. After, the viewer is encouraged to write their four line poem onto the artist’s handmade paper and then adhere onto the sculpted cast.
Heather Corey maintains her studio in Glen Rock, NJ, and lives with her husband and two sons.
Jennifer grew up on stage singing and dancing. She believes music connects people together and heals souls. She sings to spread positive energy and transport others through intimate experiences of life.
